Welcome to Better Family Life!

Thank you for visiting our new website.  BFL's mission is to plan and establish social, cultural, artistic, youth, economic, housing and education programs that help to promote positive and innovative changes within the community.

While many St. Louisans are dealing in the aftershock of a recent BBC News report naming Delmar Boulevard as the city’s racial dividing line, BFL is busy building a new home of international significance, where people of all racial, ethnic, social and economic backgrounds can convene to increase awareness and exposure to the current and historical accomplishments, movements and activities of multiple cultures.

In February 2013, we moved into the all-new Better Family Life Cultural, Educational and Business Center, a historic landmark designed by famed architect William B. Ittner, located at 5415 Page Boulevard.

This multi-million dollar project serves as our new headquarters, but houses many of the same programs the community has known us for, including GED classes, business services, and youth and family services.  In addition, we will bring new services to add new value to the 26th Ward.

All the best,
